As most of you already know, CJ was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis, also known as CF, at just two weeks old. CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs, making it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.

There is currently no cure for CF, and too many are dying young.

Every person born with CF is on their own unique journey and experiences this disease differently. CJ is now 16, and although he has had his fair share of struggles and scares, we are pleased to report that, overall, he is doing well. However, we know that this can change at any given moment.

That is why we have come together once again to raise money and help change that reality.

While progress has been made over the years, a long road lies ahead for far too many living with this disease, including CJ. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
