Angel And Joe Bernardi

Our beautiful 15-year-old granddaughter, Reese, has cystic fibrosis, a genetic disease that affects the lungs and pancreas.  Despite having the challenges she faces on a daily basis, Reese has an incredible zest for life!  She puts her heart and soul into everything she does!  She is in the 9th grade, loves acting, music, singing and playing basketball.  Reese fills our hearts with love every single day!  We love her so much!

Reese does treatments twice a day every day, takes her medications daily, and takes enzymes before meals and snacks.  She visits the CF clinic, has blood work, x-rays and tests every few months.  She does all this without complaint!  She is an incredible inspiration to all of us!  Reese is our hero!

A few years ago, Reese started taking Trikafta, a new therapy medication.  What a difference this drug has made for her, she breathes easier and coughs less!  Your donations have made this medication possible!  Although much progress has been made, there is still no cure.  Our wish is that one day a cure will be found for our granddaughter, Reese and everyone with cystic fibrosis.  We need your help to make that happen!

Please make a donation to our "Cystic Fibrosis Great Strides" fundraising campaign and/or join us at the walk on May 3, 2025 at Colonie Mohawk River Park, 71 Shermerhorn Rd., Cohoes, NY and help make a difference in the lives of everyone with cystic fibrosis!  Your support means so much!

Your gift is 100-percent tax deductible.
