Help Us Run for a Cure: Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Half Marathon Fundraiser
In March 2025, my husband, Mike, and I will be lacing up our running shoes for a cause that is deeply personal to us. We are proud to be running in the Publix Atlanta Half Marathon as part of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Breathe Team. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is an organization dedicated to improving the lives of those living with cystic fibrosis (CF) and working toward a cure.
Our motivation comes from a place of love and loss. Mike’s three uncles—Michael, David, and Billy— who all passed away from cystic fibrosis, and their memory fuels our commitment to this cause. We are running in their honor, and with every step we take, we are driven by the hope that future generations won’t have to face the same heartbreaking struggles.
Cystic fibrosis is a devastating genetic disease that affects the lungs, digestive system, and other organs, and while advancements have been made in treatment, there is still no cure. By supporting this fundraiser, you are helping to fund groundbreaking research, provide vital care, and bring us one step closer to ending CF once and for all.
We need your help to make this a reality. Any donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to a cure and supports the families who continue to fight this disease every day. Thank you for being part of this journey with us!
