"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."

Friends and Family,
The verse above hangs in a hallway in our home - a reminder to us of God's many blessings, and you are one of them.  You are receiving this email because we consider you a part of our team!  "Bailey's Bulldogs" was founded in 2014 in honor of our daughter, Lauren Bailey, who was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis (CF) at eight days old.

CF is a genetic condition that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and even respiratory failure.

Today, Lauren is a healthy 11-year old who loves piano, choir, and swimming.  She enjoys cooking camp, beach trips, and VBS in the summer and she has a very compassionate heart for helping others.  Lauren sees a team of doctors every 3 months to check her lung function and overall health.  Because she sticks to her daily CF care routine, her lung function tests have all been in the range of normal as compared to other children her age who don't have CF.  Lauren's daily routine includes pills, nebulized medications, and vest therapy twice daily (half an hour each time) - and she has never complained.

Although Lauren is doing well, she still faces 1-2 hours of CF treatment daily in order to maintain her health, as do others who have this condition.  Our prayer is for a cure so that everyone with CF can have a better chance at living a long, healthy life.

We need your help!

Help us reach our goal of $5,000 by May 3.  Donations made to "Cystic Fibrosis Foundation" are tax-deductible.  Note "Bailey's Bulldogs" in the memo to help our team continue to be a leading donor for Great Strides Augusta.

Walk with us on May 3!  Join us at 8:30 at Riverview Park in North Augusta for a light breakfast (free) followed by the Great Strides Augusta walk on the Greenway at 9:30 a.m.

Thank you for being a blessing to our family by supporting Lauren and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

With Gratitude,
Steven and Robyn Bailey
