We are walking for our son Joe, with hope that one day there will be a cure for cystic fibrosis.
CF is a progressive, genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. Every person born with CF is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. We are so lucky that Joe has access to effective treatments that allow him to live a normal, healthy life, and the CF Foundation provided critical funding to support the research and development of these treatments. Money that you donate to support this cause positively impacts families, including ours, everyday.
Additionally, while progress has been made, effective treatments are not available for all who fight this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
