Team Storm
Welcome to the Team Storm page! I’m Dean Storm and I'm dealing with cystic fibrosis (CF), a genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. I’m asking for your support—whether by joining us or donating—to help me stay as healthy as possible for my beautiful little girl Mia.
My wife Jessica and I are so lucky to have Mia Lucille Storm in our lives. She’s our little “Mia-cle.” Born six weeks premature, she’s now almost four years old and doing amazing. She loves gymnastics, dancing, everything Disney Princess and even Star Wars (like her daddy!)—and she’ll be walking right alongside us!
Mia is named in honor of my brother, Damien, who we lost to CF in 1998. He was only 22, with lung function around 20%, struggling for every breath—yet he still graduated near the top of his class at Towson University with a double major in English and Philosophy. He even carried his oxygen tank up three flights of stairs to work at a local newspaper during his senior year.
Damien had a great smile, a sharp sense of humor, and a huge heart. Whether he was volunteering in a kindergarten classroom or helping seniors play bingo, he always showed up for others. He will always be deeply missed.
Our team is committed to helping every person with CF live a long, healthy life. This will take time, funding, and persistence—but with you on our team or your donation, we’re ready to go the distance.
📍 Great Strides Walk
📅 Thursday, May 14
🕠 Registration: 5:30 PM | 🚶 Walk: 6:00 PM

We can’t wait to walk together—and maybe even spot an animal or two along the way 🙂
