Hello Friends,
Quantum Real Estate Management, LLC has been walking in the CF Great Strides Walk for over 37 years. When we began the average life of a CF child was under 16 years old. At our first walk, our son, Danny, was only 4 years old. He is now 40 years old and has had life changing moments that we never dreamed would happen. He has graduated from college, he gotten married, and now has a beautiful 5 year old daughter. He has had two double lung transplants and continues to fight the disease on a daily basis.
There is still no cure for cystic fibrosis, but the amazing medical advancements due to the research that Great Strides has help to fund, have resulted in adding years to the lives of the CF patients - our children.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
Will you help us end cystic fibrosis?
By walking and/or donating with Team Quantum, you have the power to advance the research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward – a cure for everyone with CF.
