Both my grand daughter, Julia and son, Daniel have CF. Each year I walk to fundraise in order to find a cure for CF. Discoveries from research resulting in new medicine has improved the quality of life for them but our goal is to find a cure. Our government provides no funds for research so here I am again asking you for anything you can spare in these difficult times to help us move closer to our goal.
There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. I’m walking to help change that reality.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
Words cannot thank you for your past donations and I hope you can find it in your heart and budget to once again sponsor my walk for CF with a donation.
Will you help us end cystic fibrosis?
90 cents on every dollar raised by the Foundation is available for research, care, and education programs. The Foundation reinvests these funds and any future revenue from its successful venture philanthropy model into its mission to cure CF.
By donating to my fundraising goal, you have the power to advance the research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward – a cure for everyone with CF.
