Hi Friends - thank you for coming to my page! For those who don’t know, CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. I’m walking to help change that reality. As someone who’s lived 25 years with CF I am beyond thankful for all of the progress made in the fight for a cure. However, we’ve not reached the finish line until there is a cure for all people who live with Cystic Fibrosis. This year I’m walking again to raise both awareness and funds for the CF Foundation.
A long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
By donating to my fundraising goal, you have the power to advance the research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward. Now more than ever fundraising is essential in this effort. If you have the ability to donate it is deeply appreciated, but sharing this page is also very impactful.
