Olivia is 7 years old, and every day for the last 7 years, she has fought against cystic fibrosis by taking daily medications, nebulizer treatments, and chest physiotheraphy. She follows her daily routine to ensure that she always stays one step ahead of cystic fibrosis. She undergoes numerous tests and blood draws throughout each year, has to carry medication with her to take with every meal, and attends extra visits with her doctors and CF clinical team every three months, all of which the average little girl never needs to worry about. Through it all, Olivia rarley complains and understands these extra things help to keep her healthy. Despite her ever present smile, we hope that one day, she will not need to do these extra things just to survive.
We would love for you to join our team, LivingFor Livi, on March 16th, and walk with us as we raise awareness for cystic fibrosis and help us get one step closer to better treatments and a cure! Whether you are able to donate to our team or just come and spend the morning with us, we are happy to have your support in any way you can give it!
Join our team as we continue to fight for a cure for all those living with cystic fibrosis. Great Strides is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's largest national fundraising event. This event includes not only a walk, but tons of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy! By joining our team, you’ll help support Olivia and everyone who lives with Cystic Fibrosis.
While the CF Foundation has made incredible progress, not everyone with CF can benefit from existing therapies and we still need a cure. This will require time, funding, and persistence – but with you on our team – we are ready to go the distance!
