There is currently no cure for Cystic Fibrosis, but many believe there will be a cure someday. My name is Louisa Rudnycky and I am 6 years old and I have CF. Denise Reichard is my grandma and Dave Reichard is my grandpa. Every year they raise money to help with CF research. There are at least 2 reasons for the fundraising.
1) There is no government funding at all for CF and the continuing needed research.
2) I personally have benefitted from the past and current medical research.
I am healthy and well due to all the medical advances that have come before me and will continue to happen due to fundraising such as this. I swim and play soccer and do gymnastics and I am living my life boldly and with a lot of fun, too.
