Our little fighter has had quite the year & having become eligible for a modulator this past summer (Trikafta for those familiar), we are blessed it was filled with a lot more fun than fight.__________________________________
As we gear up for another CF Great Strides in a couple weeks, I hope you will consider donating to our team & the CF Foundation so advancements like this can continue. While Leon has faired so well so far, daily treatments are time intensive & of course come with their own cost, both mentally & physically. Because of this & due to limitations to access & qualification, many within the CF community aren’t able to benefit from these amazing medications.
The progress has been nothing short of miraculous, but we won’t stop striving until a cure is found. For Leon & for all those in this incredible community who continue to fight & manage CF every day.

ABOUT CF

There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. I’m walking to help change that reality.CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
