CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis has a unique fight. One can have the same mutation but vastly different symptoms and outcomes.
To know Andy is to love him. He is a bright light and the toughest kid I know.
CF is often called an invisible disease. Those that live with this disease are anything but invisible.
