My grandson Dean is now 10 years old and is amazingly healthy, though he has had the genetic disease of Cystic Fibrosis since birth. His current good health is thanks to medical science and parents who have consistently, selflessly, and tirelessly advocated for him from the very beginning. His medications and therapies are working very well; otherwise, his life could be vastly different.

We come together as a family and community of supporters every May to fundraise for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation by participating in the Great Strides walk. The CF Foundation, a highly rated charity, provides valuable services for the CF Community and funds the development of life-changing new treatments and drugs -- and we hope, one day soon, a cure. The money raised for the foundation goes where it SHOULD go.

Your donation through me or any other member of our team (Dean's CF Destroyers) goes directly to the foundation and is not dependent upon whether I actually complete the WHOLE walk, though this year I am optimistic. Support takes many forms, and we are also deeply grateful for the non-monetary variety. Thank You!
