Rebecca and I are looking forward to this year's Great Strides because we're encouraged by the current wave of progress. Life expectancy continues to improve while we get closer to a cure every year. There are more incredible advancements on the horizon, but we're not there yet.
There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
