Some people come into your life and leave fingerprints on your heart that never fade.

Corey was one of those people.

He wasn’t just my “step” brother—because we don’t do steps in this family. He was my brother. And Cystic Fibrosis took him from us far too soon.

CF isn’t just a disease—it’s a daily battle to breathe, to live, to keep going when your body makes even the smallest things hard. And no one should have to fight that fight.

On Saturday, May 16, 2026, our family will be walking in Corey’s honor at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. We’re walking for Corey, for the memories we hold onto, and for the hope that one day no family has to feel this kind of loss.

Corey is deeply missed and forever loved by his mom Jeanne (Aaron), his sister Jessica (Rylen) and their children Elyette & Emmett, his brother Kameron (Sierra), and his wife Jessie and their three beautiful children—Charlie, Delaney, and Thomas.
