We are Ed and Freedom Spradley and have been dedicated participants in Great Strides Columbia with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation since 2009. Our commitment is deeply personal—our daughter, Morgan, battles cystic fibrosis (CF) daily.
 

When Morgan was born in 2008, the life expectancy for individuals with CF was much shorter than it is today. Thanks to groundbreaking treatments like CFTR gene modulators, including Trikafta, people with CF are now living longer, healthier lives than ever before. Morgan’s health is a testament to these advancements—her lung function remains above average, an incredible achievement that gives us hope for a future without CF. But our mission isn’t over.
 

We must continue supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in their relentless pursuit of a cure, ensuring that every person with CF has the opportunity to live a long, full life.
 

To our incredible family of supporters—many of whom have been walking and donating alongside us since our very first Great Strides event over 15 years ago—we cannot thank you enough.
