Hello all!
It’s that time of year again - and it sure doesn’t feel like it’s been a year already. The CF walk is less than TWO weeks away. As I’ve mentioned a few times before, 2023 was super rough on the hospital front. 2024 ended up being a WAY better year. The research and medications that have come out of CF Foundations valiant raising efforts are things I would not be here without. Every day I am thankful for the CF Foundation and each of YOU. Although CF will never be something I can just ignore or pretend doesn’t exist, with each passing year, I feel more and more hopeful that we WILL find the end to this disease for those following behind. As happy as I feel for the HUGE progress that has been made, I can’t lie and tell you that I don’t worry for the future. Without continued research, this disease will continue to take lives of people who deserve healthy and full lives.
We cannot stop until CF stands for CURE FOUND. I obviously have been involved in helping to one day hopefully find this cure, but just because we have had life changing progress, our fight is far from over! Thank you for being part of this journey, MY JOURNEY. I love each of you and continue feeling more blessed each year.
