There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and although there are new highly effective medications extending the lives of many....there are still many people that aren't eligible for these medications. There is more work to be done!! I'm walking to support and improve the lives of people with CF. There is lots of amazing ongoing research that needs our support.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
