My name is Lennon Coffee and I am an active and happy 3.5 year old living with Cystic Fibrosis.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
I live a very normal life and am able to do everything that other kids my age can do, but I work a little harder to stay healthy so I can continue to do these things! I do 2 hours of breathing treatments everyday (4 hours when I'm sick), I take pancreatic enzymes every time I eat, and I take other medications, like modulators, to help my body function as it should.
I am lucky enough to qualify for Trikafta, but it is not a cure and not everyone is eligible to take this medication.
I will continue to fight for a cure for Cystic Fibrosis for everyone! Please join my team, Coffee Strong, and fundraise and walk with us on May 4th (My Birthday!) to help cure CF!!
