Before Penelope was born, it was confirmed that she would have Cystic Fibrosis. Armed with knowledge and hope, her parents did everything they could to wait for her to make her appearance patiently. Unsure if she would be born with complications, the only thing they could do was wait.
Penelope was born on January 3, 2024, and came into this world SCREAMING, and she hasn't stopped. This spunky, independent girl has been kicking some CF butt by doing all her treatments daily. She has a great team behind her, but her journey is nowhere close to an end. Penelope and the rest of the CF community are waiting for the day that CF will stand for Cure Found.
