Kailey Tarbell
My father was the strongest person I have ever known.
He had Cystic Fibrosis.
He overcame many struggles in his life related to his CF, but he never complained. He did everything right, followed all the recommendations from his doctors, practiced a healthy lifestyle, and took care of himself, but CF doesn't care if you do everything right.
In November of 2016 the complications related to his CF became too much and we lost him. He was 60 years old. He, unfortunately, missed the birth of his first grandchild by a few short weeks.
My father loved life and never let CF define him. His memory lives on in those of us who were lucky enough to have known and loved him. I want to keep his memory alive for my children and help add tomorrows for those still fighting.
