My Xtreme Hike Story
Deborah Rogers
Fundraising for North Carolina Fall Xtreme Hike 2026
Deborah Rogers
Hello Family and Friends,
I'm excited to announce that I will be hiking for my eighth year and the thirteenth year for Caroline's Footsloggers in the Xtreme Hike. This year we will be returning to the AT hiking from Max Patch to Tanyard Gap to raise support and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis! On Saturday, September 19, 2026, I will once again be hiking in honor of my amazing niece Caroline, and in memory of my sister, Rebecca, who was passionate about raising funds and awareness for a cure to be found. I will continue to carry the torch.
With your support and generosity, I continue to be very humbled to be recognized as one of the Top Fundraisers each year for Caroline's Footsloggers!
Your support will be greatly appreciated by our family and the greater Cystic Fibrosis community.
Together, let's make CF stand for Cure Found!
Thank you in advance,
With much appreciation,
<3 Deborah and Caroline

There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. I’m hiking to help change that reality.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
Will you help us end cystic fibrosis?
By donating to my fundraising goal, you have the power to advance the research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward – a cure for everyone with CF.
