There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. I'm walking to help change that reality.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.

Silas is our only child and our own miracle. We were not expected to be able to have children, but defied the odds and had our remarkable little man! Shortly after getting home and settled we found out Silas has cf. As any parent would, we went through the whirlwind of emotions, questions, and worse case scenarios. Concerned for our little miracle, we put one foot in front of the other and figured out everything we can do to not only help him live a better, longer life but also educate people on this disease and help find a cure, for good.
Silas is an incredible kid, full of kindness, curiosity, humor, and joy! Our only goal as his parents is to maintain that outlook on life and find a cure to permanently ensure that feeling lasts for eternity! Thank you for anything you can offer to finding a cure!
