Dear Family and Friends,
Yes, it’s me again!  I am once again asking for your help to support the work of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.  As you know, two of our grandsons, Jackson, 15, and Lincoln, 9, are afflicted with Cystic Fibrosis.  This is a lifelong challenge for both of them.  Although they appear to be healthy, strong boys, both of them continue to follow a strict regimen of drugs, supplements and breathing treatments.
We are so thankful that one of the newer modulators, Trikafta, has worked amazingly well for both boys.  This drug was found thanks to donations like yours to the CF Foundation.  This Foundation funds many research projects.  I know there are many opportunities for you to show your generosity to worthy causes, but of course this one holds a special place in my heart.
I do not like that I even know about Cystic Fibrosis, but this is the hand we were dealt, and I will do anything I can to find a cure for CF.  Last year, the Indiana chapter raised over 1.5 million dollars towards the goal of curing CF.  Unfortunately, the work continues and the costs keep rising.
I am again asking your support of our Great Strides walk.  This will be held in Fort Wayne on Saturday, May 2.  Any amount is appreciated as well as your prayers for our boys and their family.
