Oaklyn’s Olympians
Oaklyn: 🌳Meaning “beautiful oak” synonymous with durability, strength, and life. The name is associated with grace, beauty, and endurance.

There is a lot that is still yet to come for Oaklyn with her treatments and her doctors appointments, but not much that we can do to “help”. One thing we can do is take to part in different fundraising and other activities to help find a cure for CF.
CF is a genetic disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. We don’t know what lies ahead for Oaklyn, but we know that we will continue to fight for her.

Oaklyn’s name has always been a perfect reflection of who she is, but this past year, she has truly shown us the depth of her strength.
From mastering her AffloVest and nebulizer treatments to starting Orkambi, Oaklyn has faced a whirlwind of change. While building these new routines took time and patience, she didn’t just adapt—she started rocking it! Through every treatment and every hurdle, she remains the same happy, loving, and brilliant little girl we adore. Oaklyn reminds us every day to have faith and trust the process, no matter how challenging the path may seem.
