Hi there! I'm Ayla (pronounced I-La), and I'm here to support Team Reis and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation achieve a cure for CF.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
As a new and excited member of Reis' family, I have witnessed the miraculous impact new drugs have had on her life, such as Trikafta and Alyftrek. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's continuing support for the development of drugs like these will step us closer and closer to a cure, so I am here to support them.
