This year marks our 22nd year participating in Great Strides for Cystic Fibrosis, and as always, we’re walking with love, gratitude, and renewed hope for our two CF warriors—Emily and Isabel.

Emily, now 23, is approaching the first anniversary of her second bilateral lung transplant—a meaningful milestone that reminds us how far she has come. Along the way, she has faced complications, including neutropenia, requiring ongoing care and monitoring. She is engaged and planning her wedding this December, and will be moving back home to Georgia soon. Her strength continues to inspire everyone who knows her.

Little Isabel, our four-year-old bundle of joy, brings light and laughter wherever she goes. She’s loving preschool, can’t wait to celebrate her 5th birthday, and spends her days playing outside, dancing, and giving her best effort in T-ball. She faces her challenges with the same spirit of strength and joy that defines her aunt.

Over the past two decades, our Great Strides team has witnessed incredible advancements in CF treatment, many made possible by fundraising efforts like these. Groundbreaking therapies such as Trikafta and Alyftrek have truly changed lives—helping people with CF breathe easier, stay healthier longer, and experience milestones once thought impossible.
