ABOUT INSURE THE CURE:
Since 2011, the Atlanta insurance community has banded together to form Insure the Cure in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the world’s leader in the fight against cystic fibrosis. Insure the Cure was formed in honor of Clay Snellings’ daughter, Emily, who was born with cystic fibrosis. CF is a rare, genetic, life shortening disease that affects every organ in the body.
When Emily was born, the life expectancy of someone born with CF was only thirty-one years old. Today, that number has risen to sixty-one, thanks to supporters like Insure the Cure who have raised over $3.8 million to fuel extraordinary medical and scientific progress for those living with CF.
While the CF Foundation has made incredible progress, not everyone with CF can benefit from existing therapies and we still need a cure. This will require time, funding, and persistence – but with you on our team – we are ready to go the distance. Will you join us?
