Sid's Team
It's time for Great Strides! We are so excited to get together and show up for Sidney and for everyone else living with cystic fibrosis.
Thankfully, we do not have much to report regarding Sidney's health, because he's remained well and stable. He's thriving in Kindergarten and thanks to Trikafta, he is doing better than we (or his doctors!) ever imagined he'd be when he was diagnosed at 10 days old – 6 years ago.
Andrew and I were fortunate to visit the CFF Theraputics lab in Boston this year, and it was an experience we'll never forget. We got to meet many of the scientists who work on the Foundation's efforts to improve the lives of those living with CF by assisting research efforts, cataloging and analyzing samples, improving the understanding of CF and helping determine which strategies to pursue next on the path to a cure. This organization is not waiting for pharmaceuticals or hospital researchers to decide when and if to pursue this dream – they are actively making the pursuit possible. And it's fundraisers like Great Strides that facilitate all of this work.
Trikafta has given us hope AND it has strengthened our resolve. A cure is within reach, and we are still planning to do all that we can to make it happen.
Great Strides is our favorite event of the year, because it is time for the CF community in Atlanta to gather and see the evidence of all of our hard work.
Please join Sid's Team again this year and walk with us in support of Sidney.

Walk begins 9:30AM
We'll have a tent for Sid's Team with coffee and donuts and fun stuff for the kiddos. After the walk, there will be popsicles and catered BBQ. All ages and abilities are welcome!
