It's spring and time to walk for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as a team member of Lauren's Loafers. Thirteen years have flown by since the first walk. Lauren is thriving and has become a soccer star! She benefits from new drugs and treatments made possible by the research supported by the CF Foundation. Although there is still no cure, the progress offers hope to those battling the disease.
Every year, as I walk around the park, I reflect on my sister and how bravely she fought against cystic fibrosis. Remembering her courage inspires me, and I am encouraged by the generous donations from my wonderful friends and supporters. Thank you! You truly make a difference.
