My dear friend Eileen Bednar was a champion for the CF Foundation when her sons Tim and Jason were diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. They are doing relatively well with all of the medical advances that have been made in the last few years, but there is no cure for CF... yet.
Eileen passed away in 2016 of ovarian cancer, and her dream was that one day, there would be a cure for her sons.
In honor of her memory, I am asking our friends and family to donate to this important cause. She would have turned 67 on 3/28, and we miss her generosity, beauty, and kind spirit.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Will you help us end cystic fibrosis?
By donating to my fundraising goal, you have the power to advance the research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward – a cure for everyone with CF.
