Despite the advances that we've made in battling cystic fibrosis (CF), there is still no cure and too many people still suffer from the debilitating effects of the disease and die far too young. I’m walking once again in 2026 to support my daughter Celia and others with CF.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure. CF affects individuals differently depending on their genetic mutation, and not everyone benefits from the progress in medications that has occurred over the past decade. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
Please help me to continue to advance research, development, and science so we can achieve the goal of finding a cure for everyone with CF.
