Dear Family and Friends,
I have been walking with Great Strides for Cystic Fibrosis since the early 2000s in honor of dear friends who have fought and continue to fight this debilitating disease. In that time, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has dramatically improved the lives of those living with CF including increasing the median life expectancy from 36 to now 61 years of age! While this is truly incredible progress, “median” does not mean all, and we still have a lot of work to do before we reach our goal.
Hope is within reach, but we need your help. By donating to my fundraising goal, you will help to advance the research and science to achieve our dream – a cure for all living with Cystic Fibrosis.

CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
