Hello Team Raiano!
I usually start off with Happy Spring, but this year Mother Nature is taking its time going from winter to spring! This is one way to look at life, we must sometimes go through the storms to come out on the other side. Chris & Amanda are my prime examples.
Our annual CF walk this year is May 18th at Lyndhurst in Tarrytown. Team Raiano continues to grow each year, thanks to the support of family, friends and new acquaintances. I am hoping you can join Team Raiano this year, if not in person than in spirit.
2024 has been filed with many blessings. Chris is now 7 years post-transplant and doing well. Gavin is growing way too fast and brings such joy to our family.
Amanda is going to be a MOM! This is a miracle and a blessing! We will be welcoming our new Grandson in May. Pregnancy looks good on Amanda and her health. Amanda may be at the walk pushing a carriage or she may be escorted around in a golf cart! Team Raiano will definitely have a new little member :)
This year Charlie & I became empty nesters. Life is much different as a CF Mom of adults. They are my HEREOS, and I will always be there to cheer them on, support them and of course worry. Kyle and Frankie, their spouses, taking amazing care of them.
Our family and friends' support has helped advance progress in the CF field, enabling these milestones.
Please ask a friend or spread the word about CF and the importance of being a Donor. We are forever grateful to Chris' donor and family.
