Thanks for joining us on our Big Adventure!
Banks makes every day the best day ever. While he spends his day playing, creating and learning, he also spends much of his day fighting Cystic Fibrosis.
Unfortunately, taking 20+ pills and spending 60+ minutes a day doing treatments is part of our reality. Banks does these things without complaint. He fights CF with joy and bravery. He has never known anything different. While we are endlessly proud of his endurance and grit, we hope he gets to see a day where fighting CF isn't a constant battle.
I can't find the words to express how grateful we are for life changing treatments like Trikafta. This medication has made CF more manageable for Banks day to day and added YEARS to his life. However, meds like Trikafta aren't available to everyone with CF and they have dangerous side effects. It is also far from a cure, which is what everyone with CF needs.
I promised Banks we will help find a cure for him and all his fellow warriors so THAT'S WHAT WE ARE GOING TO DO!!!
