Tomorrow's Leaders - Memories Made, Futures Created

Madelyn Frank
Hello! My name is Maddy and I'm a person living with Cystic Fibrosis.
My journey with Great Strides started more than a decade ago, with my family and I walking under the team "Maddy's Marchers" for several years in the Eau Claire and La Crosse Great Strides events. After a break due to the pandemic, I joined Madison's Great Stride under a branch of the CF Tomorrow's Leaders team, an organization based in Milwaukee.
While my health may have varied greatly over the course of these events, the positive experience I had didn't. These kinds of events are so important not just for fundraising, but reminding people with CF about the awesome community surrounding and supporting them.
In the past few years I was able to start Trikafta and saw firsthand the positive impact it had (and still has) on my health. This drug and others like it are a reflection of the culmination of the hard work put in by doctors, researchers, and people supporting events like these. However, there is still more work to do as patients with unique mutations of the disease are unable to benefit from current drugs on the market.
By donating to and/or joining this Great Strides you can help bridge the gap so that EVERY patient with CF has proper treatment and an ensured healthy future.
