It is time once again for the yearly Cystic Fibrosis Great Strides fundraiser and we are hoping you can help us out again this year. Last year was a great year and thanks for your help. We had a perfect day with many Friends and Family to join us on our walk with but did have a little rain. We have been fundraising for the last 14 years, raising over $89,473 and spreading the word on how we can help a great cause and get together for a walk as well. Our team has been the top fundraising team for many years, and we are very fortunate to be able to raise money for the CF foundation to help someday say we have a cure for CF.
If you are new to our fundraising here is a little information about Cystic Fibrosis (CF). It is a life-threatening genetic disease with no cure at this time that Addy lives with every day. There have been many advances in medication through the years that Addy has been able to receive, which has kept her out of the hospital. All the money raised at the Great Stride walks helps make this possible.
Addy is now 14 years old and is full of life, she played a little basketball this winter but had to step away due to some health issues. Addy is in 8th grade this year and has lots of things coming up to finish up her great year. She has confirmation at the beginning of May and then 8th grade graduation at the end of the month. She has signed up for high school class (man I am not ready for this). She will be able to get her driving temps in November and get her winter driving in! The year has gone so fast.
Last year we raised $9,276 from wonderful donations from people like you! Thank you! We would like to try to pass that up this year with your help again. We would like to collect money by April 27th, 2026, if possible, so we can have a total before the walk on May 2nd, but all money collected after the walk will still count towards this years walk. We greatly appreciate all the love and support over the years.
Please consider donating $10, $25, $50, $100 or whatever you can afford to help support our team and remember all donations are tax deductible. If you send a check, please make the checks out to Cystic Fibrosis foundation or CFF. If you need or want a receipt, please let me know with your donation.
The walk will be in Marshfield at the Zoo on Saturday May 2nd, 2026, at 11am if you would like to join us. Please make sure to register yourself and anyone else that will be walking that day at the website below. You can also donate under your own name if signed up to walk.
