Matteo is our why.
Shortly after birth, Matteo was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis, a progressive genetic disease that affects his lungs, pancreas, and other organs. Since then, he has faced more appointments, blood draws, throat swabs, daily breathing treatments, medications, enzymes, hospital stays, and challenges than any little boy should have to face. Through it all, he continues to show us what bravery, strength, and resilience look like.

Matteo is also joyful, active, determined, and full of unlimited potential. CF is part of his story, but it does not define who he is or what his future can be. We walk because we want Matteo to have every opportunity to grow, thrive, and become anything he dreams of being.

Our team, Matteo's Mucus Movers, participates in Great Strides to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the continued push for better treatments, more answers, and one day, a cure. Every step we take is for Matteo, for his future, and for all those living with CF.
