Why Do I Hike?

This will be my 7th year participating in either fundraising or hiking to fight CF. I hike to honor the memory of my cousin Abby who lived courageously with CF for 31 years, and to honor her brother Sam, who is fighting CF and has been seeing positive steps since the FDA approval of triple combo therapy. The CFF was instrumental in funding this research, but they can't do it alone.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Will you help us end cystic fibrosis?
I'm asking you to stand(or hike!) with me as we fight CF and work towards the day when we have a cure for CF. Please consider making a donation of literally any size to help me reach my goal!
