Our son Andy, who is three years old, was born with cystic fibrosis. He is the sweetest, most loving, and happy boy. He loves to read, sing, dance, play, and be with family and friends.
This year will be our fourth time participating in the Great Strides campaign aimed at raising funds for the CF Foundation. This year, there will be a walk on Sunday, April 6th, at the Miami Zoo. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation leads the way in the fight against CF, fueling extraordinary medical and scientific progress. The life expectancy of someone born with CF has doubled in the last 30 years. Despite this progress, many people with CF do not benefit from existing therapies either because their disease is too advanced or because their specific genetic mutations will not respond.
Please join us by registering to Team Andy and donating any amount you can. Every dollar counts and is so very appreciated! Your support helps us get one step closer to a cure for cystic fibrosis - a rare, genetic, life-shortening disease. If you are unable to participate in the walk, you still support us in recruiting more people to join our team.
