My Great Strides Story
Kathleen Roadt
Kathleen Roadt
Hello Friends
I am the Granmother to a child with Cystic Fibrosis.
There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. I’m walking to help change that reality.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently.
My Granddaughter, Kailyn was born almost 12 yeras ago with CF. Her personality and joy fill a room. She is really growing into her own.
Every moment I share with her, every laugh, every hug reminds me why I fight for a cure.
Despite the progress made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. Giving up is not an option.
Someday, CF is going to stand for Cure Found, but until it does, would you PLEASE consider donating again or donating for your first time. Nothing is to much or to little.
Support me in this fight to end cystic fibrosis for my Granddaughter Kailyn and for everyone who deserves a future without limits.
Thank You
Kathy
