My Great Strides Story

Tristan is our super hero! Since about 3 months old he has been doing cupping/vibrating vest and nebulizer treatment two times a day. He goes in quarterly to see his team of doctors at the U of M. Once a year he goes in for an all day appointment for a 3 hour blood draw, xrays and more testing. He is so strong! We do our best to keep him busy in sports but ultimately a cure is needed. This is a progressive disease so the older he gets, the more symptoms we will see, unfortunately.
Will you help us end cystic fibrosis?

When he was born, we were told the life expectancy was 36. How TERRIFYING to hear as first time parents. I'm happy to report that today the life expectancy is now believed to be 60!!!! Great strides have been made in stem cell research, modulators and treatments BUT they are still experimenting their way to a cure! Please help us and all the other CFers raise money and awareness for this disease.
Thank you all for your continued support. We can't express how much we truly appreciate it.
