Okay people so I know I don't post much on Facebook but this is the most important thing I post each year. As all of you know Chloe Van Houten our Granddaughter ,is one of the most important people in my life. Any of you that have known me for a while have met Chloe and know how amazing she is. We are trying to raise as much money for CF for her so she can live a longer, healthier life. Chloe is the strongest person I know, she is absolutely the toughest person I know, she goes through so much in one day and still always has a smile on her face. She is generous, sweet, loving, genuine, absolutely gorgeous and her smile lights up a room.
So I am asking all my friends on here to please donate. Any donation helps even if it's only a $1, no donation is too small, please help us meet our goal of $5,000. There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. I’m walking to help change that reality.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
