Hello friends!

If you're wondering why you're here, please read:

When I was born with cystic fibrosis, my parents were told I wouldn't live to reach 18 years old.

I don't know what it's like to breathe without CF or to go a day without taking medications and doing treatments to help fight the effects of this disease.

There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis. I’m walking to honor all the people we've lost too young and to help everyone, including myself, with CF live longer, healthier lives.

CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.

Every dollar donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is directly invested in life-altering medications that attack the affected genes and reverse the effects of this disease. This progressive fundraising has proven successful as the gene therapies have undoubtedly helped people experience longer, healthier lives with CF.

However, people with CF are still suffering, taking medications, doing treatments and unfortunately living shorter lives than they should be because of this awful disease.

We will not stop until every person affected by this disease can take a breath without the weight of cystic fibrosis.
