Great Strides 2026 

Six years ago when our son Quincy was brand new to this world we knew something was wrong. Constant coughing, inability keep his food down, chronic sinus infections and frequent trips to the emergency room for our new little family.

It wasn’t until he was almost 2yrs old that we got his CF diagnosis. A feeling beyond description but close to despair set in. 

Fortunately for us, our little man was born into a world with CFTR modulator therapies. These are groundbreaking drugs for cystic fibrosis (CF) that treat the underlying cause of the disease by repairing the malfunctioning CFTR protein, rather than just managing symptom. 

Quincy has been taking his modulator therapy , called Trikafta, since June 2023. Today he exhibits hardly any of his CF symptoms. He is a healthy young five year old living with Cystic Fibrosis.

Our family and many others were given a miracle with these therapies. However others are still waiting for modulators that will help their specific CF mutations. 
 

The research needed to find answers for those families comes from fundraising! So please give what you can to Team Quincy or share this with others to help spread love and fundraise as much as possible! 

There is still so much still to be done, and perhaps one day even a cure to be found! 

If you can join us again to walk this year please do! If you are unable to, there is always next year! or the next! Because Team Quincy will NOT stop walking or fundraising until there is a cure for all CF fighters.
