My Great Strides Story

Fundraising for New York 5 Borough Great Strides 2026

On Wednesday, June 3rd, I’ll be joining my family and friends for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Great Strides Walk in New York. I’m walking to support the research and science necessary to change the trajectory of this disease.
This cause is deeply personal to me, as I’ve seen in my own lifetime a fundamental shift in the landscape of CF care. It's shifted from mere symptom management to molecular breakthroughs like Trikafta that treat the disease at its cellular level. It is nothing short of miraculous to witness a life-shortening reality transition to a future where individuals can plan for long, healthy lives.
The work, however, is far from finished. Many around the globe still lack access to these advancements, limited by geography and cost, and research has yet to provide answers for every genetic mutation. I’m proud to be part of the collective effort that closes these gaps, continuing to drive the innovation that saves and significantly improves lives.
