Great Strides is a fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and supports their search for a CF cure.  I lost my best friend Holly to CF in 2006 and walk every year in her memory. 

The advancements in CF treatment during my lifetime have been incredible.  In 2000, the average lifespan for people born with CF was 33 years.  Now, it is 65.  The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation funds more CF research than any other organization, and seeing the real-life impact of their work makes me proud to fundraise with them every year.
