When the Addyson & Elyse were diagnosed with cystic fibrosis as young babies, I had no clue what their future would look like. It was scary and uncertain to think about how their life may look. Although the girls have both been through more struggles and scary moments than I can even think about, they persevere on a daily basis and never let their disease define them. Thanks to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, their lives have been prolonged greatly! Life expectancy has been raised, treatments have become more advanced and overall quality of life is better than I could have ever imagined 11 years ago.
