Let me tell you about this 12 year old. In addition to thriving and being healthy (due to the incredible science behind his medications) he is an absolute stud. He plays several instruments, sings and acts (which he gets entirely from his mother, I assure you) and he consistently makes honor roll (which he SERIOUSLY does get from Lona, I ASSURE you). But today he came home from a situation where some peers were making a choice he didn't want to make and rather than succumbing to peer pressure, he said no and excused himself. We all know what feels right from wrong for ourselves. At any age, being able to tell ones friends no requires more than a conscious; it takes intestinal fortitude. He's becoming a young man and the kind we hoped he be.
